Machine system combined with automatic measuring robot for product diameter

As a machine system combined with automatic measuring robot and flexible picking and dropping mechanisms, we have specially built to measure the inside and outside diameters of Piston products with high accuracy up to 0.001μm.
The system was created with high precision and optimized flexibility in mind, in order to improve measurement field problems as well as save production time.

Using the Equator robotic system improves productivity and increases the processing capacity of i production lines, by providing highly accurate dimensional inspection data in addition to turning and machining centers, at the point of production. The new larger Equator system allows for larger parts to be measured, with a working volume of 500 mm in diameter and up to 400 mm in height.

The Equator systems are all accurate between 5 ºC and 50 ºC at any rate of temperature change and are capable of scanning at speeds in excess of 200 mm/s. All systems are compatible with the easy-to-use Organizer operator software, EZ-IO software for automation, and IPC (intelligent process control) software for updating tool offsets on CNC machine tools. In addition, the system uses the Needle that is part of the contact measuring system equipped on CMMs (3d gauges) and other touch point testing instruments. It is an important component in the transducer system, operating according to the mechanism of the displacement transducer. The generated signal allows the measurement to be made. Features depend on the type and size of the stylus used.
